YCM Online
Overview – Yorkshire CCC prints a hard copy magazine, YCM. However, it was decided that there was need for a scaled down, multi-media electronic version – YCM Online. It was designed to appeal to the growing number of web savvy, younger members. Yorkshire CCC is the only county club to produce an animated, online magazine.
Brief – To produce a fun, alternative to YCM magazine in time for Spring.
Task – My role was to look at the hard copy YCM magazine and then pick out what features and stories would suit the new online format. I then had to edit many of the features quite considerably and liaise with the design team to decide what animations could then be added.
Publication – YCM Online.
Results – We were delighted with the final outcome and YCM Online looks set to become a regular fixture at Yorkshire CCC. Feedback has been great and the club are considering phasing out YCM hard copy and focussing solely on the online version.
